Samsung had officially launched its flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge in the Indian market couple of weeks back. Both the smartphones are now available for purchase all around the country via online retailers as well as brick and mortar stores. Google at the Great Online Shopping Festival last week officially announced the launch of Nexus 6 smartphone and the most popular media streaming device, the Google Chromecast in India. Google has officially announced the launch of sixth generation Nexus smartphone in the Indian market. Dubbed as Google Nexus 6, the smartphone is made in partnership with Lenovo-owned Motorola and is now available from online retailer Flipkart. Along with Google Nexus 6, Google has also listed the next-generation Nexus tablet on the Google Play Store in India. Dubbed as Nexus 9, the tablet is manufactured in partnership with HTC. The Nexus 9 was listed on the India Play Store soon after its official announcement last month. According to the listing, Google will be releasing the 16GB WiFi and 32GB LTE versions of Nexus 9 in the country.

Google officially took the wraps off the next-generation Nexus smartphone called the Nexus 6 last month. The smartphone is made in partnership with Lenovo-owned Motorola Mobility. Sony has silently started selling a new tablet in the Indian market recently. Dubbed as Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, the same was originally announced earlier this year in February at the MWC 2014 event. LG G Pro 2, LG's latest flagship phablet is now available in India. The smartphone was originally announced back in February and is all set to launch in India soon. Online retailer Snapdeal is now selling the G Pro 2 for Rs. 49,900, which is the same price reported by Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom yesterday. The retailer has now confirmed that the stocks of G Pro 2 will arrive to him by today evening.

LG is all set to launch the successor of LG Optimus G Pro in the Indian market. Dubbed as LG G Pro 2, the smartphone was originally announced back in February 2014. LG started the global roll-out of G Pro 2 starting from March with Asian-markets being the top priority. The One (M8) is the successor of last year announced HTC One (M7). The smartphone was originally announced last month at an private event held in NYC by HTC. HTC One (M8) comes in three colours which include Gunmetal Gray, Glacial Silver and Amber Gold and is priced at Rs. 49,900.

Samsung announced the Galaxy S5 in India last month and starting from April 11, the smartphone was available across the country. Samsung Galaxy S5 was priced at Rs. 51,500 at the time of launch, and weeks after the launch the smartphone is now available from India's leading e-commerce site Flipkart for Rs. 46,450 (updated), which is Rs. 5,050 less than the launch price.
It looks like Samsung lowered the price of Galaxy S5 because of the launch of HTC One (M8) in the country. HTC has launched the One (M8) in India earlier today for Rs. 49,900. One more price-cut and Galaxy S5 will become the best phone available in the market for around Rs. 42,000.
Talking about the specifications, Samsung Galaxy S5 comes with a 5.1-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, Exynos 5 Octa-Core processor, 2GB RAM, Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Samsung's TouchWiz UI on top, 16MP rear camera with LED flash, 2.1MP front facing camera, 16GB internal storage with up to 64GB supported microSD card slot and 2,800 mAh battery.
Connectivity series include fifth generation Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with 2X2 MIMO, Bluetooth 4.0 BLE / ANT+, USB 3.0 (covered), NFC and IR Remote. In addition to all those specs, the Galaxy S5 is IP67 dust and water resistant.
